IPAK was honored to welcome elected officials, state agency leaders, nonprofit organizations, and small and diverse-owned businesses to one of its Camden locations for the Camden County stop of Governor Mikie Sherrill’s 21-county tour. The statewide initiative is focused on engaging directly with New Jersey businesses about how government can be more responsive, effective, and connected to the needs of organizations operating across the state.

The invitation-only gathering was led by Kellie Doucette, New Jersey’s Chief Operating Officer, and organized in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey. The session brought together nonprofit organizations and small and diverse-owned businesses for an open dialogue about the challenges, opportunities, and priorities shaping business and community impact in Southern New Jersey.

With deep roots in Camden, IPAK was proud to host a discussion centered on listening, collaboration, and shared progress. Today, 60% of IPAK’s employees reside in Camden, reflecting the company’s longstanding commitment to investing in the community it calls home.

“IPAK was grateful to open its doors for this important discussion,” said Karen Primak, CEO of IPAK and CCSNJ Board Member. “Nonprofits and small and diverse-owned businesses are deeply connected to the communities they serve. When their voices are part of the conversation, government can better understand what is working, where support is needed, and how we can move forward together.”Throughout the meeting, attendees shared their perspectives on how state government can better support organizations across workforce development, business growth, public service, community investment, and economic opportunity.

The event reflects IPAK’s continued commitment to bringing people together, supporting meaningful dialogue, and contributing to solutions that strengthen businesses, nonprofits, and communities across New Jersey and beyond. As a Camden-based company involved in programs with national reach, IPAK understands that local conversations can help inform broader solutions that support organizations serving communities across America.
